Born in Cairo , Egypt into a prominent Muslim family of Lawyers and Following in the footsteps of his father and uncles, he too chose to become a lawyer.
Through the witness of his best friend, Tamir, he experienced the love of Christ and made the decision to give his life and service to the LORD.
He began the mission to bring the Christian community all the same legal rights as the Muslim community in Egypt . He began a ministry which in just 2 years grew to 24,000 Christians. The Egyptian Government did not tolerate this and Majed wound up in the torture section of the Abu Zaabel prison in Cairo .
During this time in prison, Majed underwent severe torture for 7 days in the underground prison, everything from shaving his head and putting his head and hot and cold water, hanging upside down, being burned with cigarettes and the miracle of the attack dogs silenced to being crucified on the last 2 and a half days with a mixture of salt and lemon to anoint his wounds. All this is because of his new faith in our LORD.
He eventually escaped and on a whirlwind journey fled to Israel where he was jailed for over a year because they weren’t sure what to do in this circumstance. Legally he could not stay in Israel but if they sent him back to Egypt he would be executed.
Through the intervention of Amnesty International & the United Nations Majed was released from prison and became a free man in Jerusalem , Israel .

Majed El Shafie is truly a man of God. Having faced death for the Lord through persecution, he now rescues other from persecution throughout Muslim nations. What a wonderfully inspirational story. I also have a friend who was a Muslim and converted to Christianity. He went against friends and family within his community, but stands firm now in his Christian beliefs. It is amazing how much strength you can gain from the love of Jesus.
:THANK-YOU: God is so good! He does not want us to perish.. He wants us to be with Him in Heaven! He is doing everything to let us believe that there is really heaven and hell..
If we believe these exists, no regrets when we die… but if we don’t, it MAYBE TOO LATE!! so, what’s keeping us?

It is such a great joy & opportunity for us to share with you and to the witness for our Living Lord Jesus Christ that He is answering of your prayers that you are earnestly doing for His ministry which He has entrusted upon us. God’s Spirit has touched the life of hardcore Muslim fanatics for His own glory.
** You will be thrilled to know that few days ago Mr. Fakir Shaike (Mr. Fakir Shaike who is a great persecutor to our believers and two years ago he wanted to burn the believers homes and killed them for their faith in Jesus) called one of our believer’s son to his home and he offered food to him and told him that now onwards he might visit to his home openly and help to his children in their studies. He has also told him that if anybody opposed him to visit his home then he will take care of it. Also God is working in the life of his wife (Mrs. Jahema) and she is trying to find out opportunity to attend at our Friday Worship services. She is having faith in Jesus and she is sharing about Jesus to other ladies very secretly.
** Mrs. Nazufa Bibi heard The Gospel of Christ by one of our believer sister then she had great desire to attend at our worship service and get prayer as she is sick. So she asked her husband to allow her to attend at our worship service. At last she came and we prayed for God’s healing touch upon her body, even though Muslim fanatics given very strict order not a single Muslim is allowed to keep any kinds of social relation with us and not to attend our worship services.
However, please pray:
* That God may totally change Mr. Fakir’s heart and he may surrender his life to Jesus soon.
* That God may use Mrs. Jahema to her husband life (Mr. Fakir) and other Fanatics Muslims.
* For Mrs. Nazufa & her husband Md. Amrul Shaike may surrender their lives to Jesus and He might heal Nazufa.
* That God may add more new people to our house Churches in the villages and at our Friday Worship services.
* For God’s protection & guidance in our lives.
