I have done quite a few missions to the Philippines over the years. I know about the catholic way there, have shared the Gospel to many catholics in their homes in your country.
it seems like you are already half way to God’s kingdom, but to really find Christ you simply need to come to the place where you choose not to trust in the idols of the Catholic church(or any idol) but to trust completely in Jesus for your eternal life, cleansing of sin, forgivness
You will find him through his word, if you seek him with your whole heart you will find him.
Inwardly in your heart turn to Christ and away from your sins, in particular in your situation away from trusting in the idolatry of the catholic church, the Holy Spirit is also willing to lead you in this. If you have any shrines, pictures of Mary or Jesus etc in your house I would recommend you remove them as they can be idols. Also with rosary beads, charms, amulets, these can have demonic strongholds, soul ties

I’m a catholic and my family are devoted catholics. Please understand that I lived in the Philippines and I grew up in that religion. My grandfather even found “brgy. sang birhen” a group which is devoted to Mary.

After death, it’s either heaven or hell. No purgatory, no in-between, no grim reapers, light, ghosts and all the afterlife lies that the devil has fabricated in his bid to destroy mankind again.
The catholic practice some false doctrines that apparently are not based on the Word of God and anything not based on God’s word is false and Satan-inspired. So please, maybe through this, God wants to save for. Don’t resist the move and plans of the Holy Spirit.
